Works great. I haven't had any issues with using this with any of my devices. From my iPads, iPhones, & M1 MacBook they all recognize it and work flawlessly. It even works when connected to my MacBook via a Studio Display with full 1Gbps speeds. It really just works.

It operates without requiring any software drivers, greatly simplifying connecting a laptop with only USB-C ports to an Ethernet connections. It allowed me to back up a music-storage device to an Apple Macbook where the WiFi connection proved to be insufficiently reliable to complete this task.

If your running your network through a USB connection then I recommend using this "USB C" adapter. It installed easily on a new laptop that didn't come with an Ethernet port, and this machine had to be hard wired to the router, so this fit the bill. A fair price, a good product, no problems at all so far. It's been in place, getting heavy use for about 2 months now.

This was the exact item I needed. Our small community had lost internet for several days, due to a cascade effect from installing new cable for faster internet, and one of the last things that needed checking was whether my Wifi was adding to the problem. Excellent Ethernet Cable – Fast, Reliable, and Durable!

this is a very compact way to extend the USB network on you laptop or notebook. Be sure that your downstream device is compatible, i.e., a USB 3.1 device may only get 3.0 service as the Insignia is a 3.0 device itself. Fully downward compatible for older attachments. I assume but do not know whether using it on a machine with, say, a USB 2.0 port negatively affects it other than the obvious,

This adaptor does what it should, and it does it well. I also appreciate how slim and simple it is. The only issue I encountered was that with my Cat5 cable it did not provide a perfect fit, making the ethernet cable slightly loose and prone to disconnecting. However, this issue was not present when I used a Cat6 cable.

Works amazing!! I was getting 430mbps to 480mbps download and upload using wifi on my laptop. Since I don’t have an Ethernet port on my laptop, I purchased this adapter. Connected, ran a speed test and was getting 940mbps download and upload immediately! Ive had it for over a month with long gaming sessions 4 times a week. Its held up and worked perfect! Great buy!

The Insignia ethernet to usb-c is needed for ethernet input since the 2024 M3 MacBooks come without an ethernet port. Good thing the Insignia dongle works so well. Very compatable with my MacBook Pro.

I needed to add an additional Ethernet port to my laptop and this worked perfectly for remote console work. It only would with an Ethernet connection and not the usb-c connection. Highly recommend!

My new Dell Plus Copilot laptop needed this Ethernet adapter to connect the internet and I purchased the Insignia Brand. It works great and I recommend using one if needed.
