Can also be used to wire your smart tvs that will net faster bandwidth. Most LAN ports on tvs is capped at 100mb/s which seems wild to me. This will net greater speeds - would recommend USB-a version for TV use tho.

It only would with an Ethernet connection and not the usb-c connection. Highly recommend!

Bought it, took it home and hooked it up. No instructions and no driver to download. Worked like a charm as soon as I plugged in the ethernet cable. Wish all computer peripherals claiming to be plug-and-play could be this easy! Highly recommend this item for anyone looking for a more secure and stable way to have an internet connection, or to hook their laptop (sans ethernet port) to a lan.

Justbbe sure to shut off the wifi and cellular on the iPad to activate the ethernet option.
