The system kept blue screening and wasn't booting into Windows. I had to reinstall Windows and couldn't get past the initial login because it couldn't detect an onboard network adapter. Ran up to BB and purchased this USB-C network adapter. Within minutes I was installing all the missing drivers. Adapter was a life saver in getting laptop working again. It is a must have if you are an IT person.

M1/M2/M3/M4 Apple Silicon - Not recommended

I am on the macOS 15 Developer Beta so it may be different for others. That said, after an hour on the phone with Apple Care and another 20 minutes on the phone with Insignia I opted to return it instead of reverting my OS to the regular version. Glad I did as the alternative upgrade I switched this one out for at the store which also supports Thunderbolt and it worked splendidly. As for me there's a reason why I usually don't buy the cheapest option and should not have gone against my rule. This might work great for others but if you are running a macbook ask yourself if the extra $15 bucks is worth the ability to run it on Thunderbolt over USB-C. Two star because despite the product not working and wasting a ton of my time the service department quickly answered my call and did everything they could.
