I needed it for work to connect a monitor. It make plugging a lot easier. I would like if the cable was a little longer but not a big deal.

My heart was broken because I hate this amount of money for this and don’t give you an exchange. I don’t know who to talk to. I love Best Buy, but you cannot sell product and leave your Customer hanging.

Glad I decided to purchase Best Buy brand in lieu of Apple. This has held up for over 6 months with daily use. Save the money from not buying Apple does same thing.

Works great. Easy to use. A little pricy, but handy to have next to your laptop. Good brand. Works on Mac or windows machine.

Works as advertised, which is all that is needed to work as intended. BUT be sure to read through both the specifications and or lists of software/hardware capability. In my case, I needed one that is compatible with MacOS and M1 chip because I had an older J5 create usb-c hub dongle that would not recognize my macbook air from work that had the M1 chip. And that the price is alot cheaper than the official apple one is a huge plus.

Picked this up to use while traveling to play movies from my tablet to the hotel TV for the kids.. Works great but you need to use a higher output charger to keep the device fully charged or it will slowly discharge while watching longer shows. It also needs to be disconnected from your device when you are done or it will discharge your battery by morning. I haven't had the chance to use a charger that has a greater output to see if this is resolved. Does a great job of converting a USB-C output to an HDMI input for a TV/Monitor even with the power flow issue..

I purchased this as an open box in good condition. Worked just fine for displaying from USB-C. I returned mine because I was testing devices for AR glasses and did do what I thought it would.
