I love wired earbuds, and sorely missed them after upgrading to a phone with no audio jack. I purchased these after using Bluetooth for about a year, and was sorely disappointed when the sound quality was far and noticeably worse than over bluetooth. I don't consider myself an audiophile, or someone particularly picky about sound quality, but I'm horrified by a WIRED CONNECTION being far inferior to a wireless one. Beyond disappointment in basic function, the cords are covered in some material that is both unpleasant to touch, and also, I suspect, to blame for the abnormally high-sensitivity to brushing against anything at all, which results in a sort of stethescope experience; amplifying every tiny brush against fabric, hair, or skin, into a loud, disruptive sound. So, if you're not completely still, you're going to hear it. They also don't even stay in your ear well. Every few minutes, I have to twist and shove the little buds back in; more often if I am moving about: walking, or even speaking, or eating/ moving my jaw. Accordingly, I attribute this annoyance to a poor design of the ear tip, and the aforementioned cords, that catch on fabric second only to velcro.
