I hated wearing the headphones that came with the software - this mic just sits on my desk in front of me, and catches every word I say. It works at least as well as the headphone mic did, and it takes up much less room when it's sitting on my desk.

She wanted to use the Windows 10 Cortana feature, so we installed the Insignia USB Microphone, The installation was as easy as plugging in any USB device. Windows 10 recognized the microphone and now it works perfectly with Cortana

My computer didn't come with a microphone so I couldn't speak with Cortana. I didn't want anything expensive and after looking at several I decided on this one. I haven't regretted my decision.
