For those lacking in advanced tech skills, this microphone is simple to use. The computer recognizes it immediately once the USB is inserted and you're ready to be heard. This was a quick and inexpensive fix to the need for virtual meetings requiring a microphone when the one on my computer was broken.

Great product for the price you pay. Only complaint I have is that you have to speak very close to the mic to have it register any kind of sound/voice. I was hoping it could pick up voice at a normal distance from like the monitor or something. Otherwise works great.

I was looking for a high quality mic that does not take up valuable desktop space. This mic gives me high quality for standard dictation which I use for entry into the comment sections of my DVD data base. It provides me the ability to input the descriptions of each DVD without having to type a full page into each comment section (I have almost ten THOUSAND DVDs which I am converting to MP4s and storing on a 16 TB external drive, and the price is equally rewarding.

Assistant guided me to this little microphone at $19.95. Cheapest of all available at $19.95. I cannot get over how simple to install and use. The other devices, although much more expensive, would not have given me better value than this did. I appreciate the honesty of the assistant that this was all I needed. He was right.
