i was having trouble with my internal microphone/ speaker while on Skype so i purchased this external mike and it works perfect...i found out the problem is with the Skype app as my internal mike and speaker work fine with others like zoom and duo..it is a good option for the cost ...i think i paid $20 for it ...it was very easy to set up

It is as advertised. It functions for what I needed, although it is filling a gap for something that I think is a defect in my computer that I cannot fix right now so I did not want to spend a lot of money on a microphone.

This works great with my studio PC. It has plenty of sound and is easy to fit around my monitor.

For a budget mike it’s actually pretty good. You can adjust the volume of how much you want people to hear you or turn it on/off completely with ease. Picks up surprisingly well even if I’m across the room which is great when I want to move away from the computer but still need to use it.

I bought this microphone, because my ACER monitor did not have one. I use it to send requests to SIRI and to dictate text for email. I assume that the Insignia Microphone comes with its own voice recogntion capability, since I didn't have to install any software. I just plugged the microphone into the USB port of my Apple Mini. I cannot compare this product's voice recognition accuracy to other products, since this is the first time I've used this technology. However, I can say I'm satisfied with this product's performance. You may need to turn up the volume and enunciate clearly in the event it can't accurately transcribe what you say. You can also spell the words as an alternative. It's a good bargain for the price.

I purchased this product for a public speaking course I enrolled in. I had to record several AV speaking presentations, this mic worked well for me. I was able to stand across the desk and still record good quality audio.

The microphone was easy to attach and use but did not meet expectation of taking voice info from taped recorder. However, I chose to keep it because I am sure that I will be able to use for other things.

At first, I didn't think it would meet my expectations; however, for the price, it is capable of handling my needs. I am not constantly using it but when I need it I feel comfortable with the end results.

It picks up my voice easily without being too close to me. It even has a nice sleek look to it.

Worked great for international online conference. Glad I bought it. Do need to sit in front of you on desk. Has on off switch and volume control. With this and all mics, if you get a background hum, make sure the cord is not crossing over itself or another cord really close to it.

This Microphone is really good. Its makes the sound of your voice very clear when you listen. It doesnt capture other sounds that much but if you are 8ft away for example you can hear the sound of a person typing on the keyboard. Good for beginners to record with.
