I purchased this mic to do voiceovers, talk to friends and record short videos. It worked great for when I needed it.

I needed a computer mic to replace the gong headset I was using to talk to my friends on skype and teamspeak. I only wanted a standalone mic due to the uncomfortableness I felt wearing a headset for hours on end. This mic works perfectly when paired with headphones or with computer speakers, I haven't had a problem with it picking up a lot of background noise or echoes when using speakers. It also produces a clear sound when I do voice tests or have friends check how I sound. It is very easy to use. All you do is plug it into one of your sub ports on your computer and then have it go through a setup wizard, and then it's ready to go.

I needed a microphone for my desktop computer. I was looking for something that plugged directly into the sound card, but couldn't find anything, This mic plugs into a USP port and I doubted it would work, but at $10, I decided to try it anyway. I'm glad I did. It works very well and I've received comments on how good the audio sounds. I highly recommend this inexpensive microphone, because of it's sound quality and ease of use. However, don't forget to move the slider switch to the ON position and adjust for full input. Both controls are on the front of the mic base.

just upgraded to windows 10 and wanted a mic to communicate with corrtana and on day 4 having no problems did experience a problem with background noise with the TV on turned it down worked fine in a quiet environment at it's best,have not tested with speech recognition software but simple pc commands works great. Usb plug with on and off switch great product with low cost.

Bought to use with Windows 10 "Cortana". Just plugged into USB port and Plug and Play loaded software automatically. Learned speech pattern by reading short paragraph. Works perfect, very nice looking with stand. Has On/Off switch. Be sure "ON" when first using.

I always go for the cheaper options when it comes to electronics, but in this case, I don't feel like I got a poor quality product. The sound quality is more than I could have asked for in a $20 microphone. Installation is a breeze and it's a comfortable, intuitive product.

As many of us has, I have spent a lot of time in online meetings. And was using a headset. It worked, but I really was uncomfortable with it all the time. So I bought this microphone. It works quite well. It is sensitive in that it picks up my voice very well, with several feet between me and the mic. The audio has been reported to be clear and crisp. The mic has a physical mute switch on it's base, and an adjustable gain dial there, too. I really have not used the gain knob, but it does work. I am very happy with the purchase as it does exactly what I needed.

I like the design and the 5 different positioning settings. (My old one would flop down and I had to duct-tape it in an upright position.) It works excellently, practically doesn't need set up (plug and play), and it is low priced. Excellent value.

Easy to install and operate. I use the microphone mostly for... and it works great on Windows Speech Recognition. The microphone is very sensitive and picks up the sound of my voice very well. It seems to do a good job recognizing the different sounds associated with small variances in diction. Be careful not to have loud audio (e.g., a radio) playing in the background so as not to confuse the microphone as to what it is receiving/picking-up.

We got this for my husband's computer which didn't have a microphone. It is small and easy to set up and has a nice sound. It'll fit well in small spaces and for basic recording and online uses such as skype, sounds decent.

I use this microphone to communicate with Cortana in Windows 10. It eliminates the need to use the keyboard. It works fine, was a good value, and takes up a minimum of space.

The internal microphone stopped working on our laptop and we bought the Insignia UBS Microphone...it is great! Easy to use,long enough cord and we can be heard across the country! It has an adjustable volume and on/off button.

easy to set-up , has on/off and volume control. Have had no problems with friends hearing me even thou the mic is a few feet away.

My kid needed a microphone for online schooling that was better than the one he already had. Picked this up while it was on sale and it does a great job. Simple, easy to use, and at a great price. I would definitely buy again.

The mic does what is supposed to do. I use it for my voice activated computer and it pics up my voice from a couple 0f feet away. It was easy to install, and priced right.

I needed this for work when the world went into lock down. It is a good price and the sound is just as good as the expensive ones and take up much less space. This folds down and tucks under my monitor stand when not in use. A big help with limited desk space.

This mic is very well designed and is light and compact, with a fairly good sound quality.
