However, the microphone built into my laptop can give me somewhat cleaner sound, so this microphone was a bit of a waste of money for me. I should've put the $20 I spent on this microphone toward a more expensive one. That was my bad. I went el cheapo, and I paid for it. If you don't have a microphone built into your PC, then this one will do, but be aware that the quality of the sound you get, while serviceable, is not very good. If you're thinking of recording videos for YouTube, you definitely want to go with a more expensive and more capable microphone.

Ok, not great. But it was cheap!

Definitely not top of the line but does work. If you need any type of perfection with a mic this is not for you. If you just need something for Skype or Duolingo type apps it is passable. But again, no frills on this one.
