This Insignia microphone, under identical conditions, has a constant noise level that is completely unacceptable to anybody. I did not expect it to be good but I did not think anyone would produce a microphone this poor.

It doesn't work after a single use. The build quality is cheap and flimsy, and that would be fine if it worked for more than 6 odd hours. Stay away from this mic unless you have no other choice, and save your money. I can't emphasize just how horrendous this thing is.

Quality of sound is sketchy (blue LED light keeps flashing). Once is while when the stars align, it does work but since I can't replicate conditions, I'm trashing this. I got Logitech mike and all is well. For the record, I did contact Insignia twice for tech support and neither person was able to could figure out the problem.

Does not work with windows 8!

Sales didn't know or they should have asked when they pointed out microphone. Can't believe there is a simple product that is not compatible with newish' software.
