Insignia USB to Ethernet Adapter works well! It does everything it says on the package description. There was no lag or delay in the upload or download speeds. The adapter is compatible with Chromebook as well.

It’s as simple as plugging in. It works without the need for any other software or updates of any sort. Just plug and play, it’s simple as that. I got it for my Surface Pro because it does not have a port for Ethernet and this adapter worked perfectly. Compact and light so it doesn’t add much weight to my laptop.

Used in conjunction with Apple USB A to Lightning adapter to provide simultaneous ethernet and charging to an iPhone at 10/100/1000 speed. Apple's own USB to Ethernet adapter only supports 10/100. Didn't know if the Insignia adapter would be compatible, but it works fine.

Got this as a replacement for a bad mobo nic. It was for a user that is not the most tech savvy. Was able to tell them to plug into one of the same ports that looks like what there mouse is plugged into based on a picture from the user. No drivers needed and internet began working immediately. Good in a pinch. Can recommend and almost anyone could use it without technical experience. Better than adding in a PCIe replacement that requires the computer case to be opened.

What a great product to have for my computer! It was so easy to install and use.

I initially wanted the cheaper version which was the essentials, but they were out of stock at my local store. I managed to pick this version instead. I bought this strictly for the Nintendo Switch and I saw a 30% speed gain compared to a wireless connection(close proximity to the modem). The wired is undoubtedly stable compared to playing online with a wireless connection.
