Insignia USB to Ethernet Adapter works well! It does everything it says on the package description. There was no lag or delay in the upload or download speeds. The adapter is compatible with Chromebook as well.

Appropriately connecting this adapter is very intuitive and easy. With the keyed ends of the adapter, namely one end to connect to an USB port, and the other end to connect to an Ethernet wire, the user will not go wrong in connecting appropriately. I like this adapter. It serves my purpose. I have connected my computer to the Wi-Fi using this adapter. I like this adapter.

I recently bought a laptop and realized there was not an ethernet port. I now need the port because a position that I am starting in Jan 2026 requires a non-wireless connection. I purchased this adapter and, plug it into the USB port on the laptop and connected an ethernet cable to adapter and then to router. It worked great and I did a speedtest and the result were more than satisfactory. I would recommend this product for anyone who has a laptop without an ethernet port.

Best decision to use cable download to PC instead of Wi-Fi, this is more secure and undoubtedly faster when you are using your PC from work station. Plug your Ethernet cable from your modem/router to the Ethernet adapter end and the USB end to your USB-A port of your computer and you are in business. My PC is Windows 11 and it connected without a glitch. Most new laptop PC’s are designed to be lighter/thinner and thus lack an Ethernet port, this is where this INSIGNIA USB to Ethernet adapter is a necessity.

It works as it should, What happened to Ethernet connections on portable computers. This may be a bit of a bottleneck on full Ethernet performance and it works well for laptops that no longer seem to have Ethernet connections.

Product works great , very handy when I need to use hardwire on my laptop since my current laptop doesnt have an ethernet outlet , so I just plug into my usb port and connect the ethernet wire, and thats it! Connects just fine and practical for those who work on their laptops if wifi just happens to not be available for whatever reason.. didnt find any cons with my experience so far!

This is an excellent accessory for today's laptops that don't come with wired ethernet. It works seamlessly with Windows 10 or 11 without the need for installing third party software. Needed a wired connection for my laptop iin a temporary situation and found this. Worked out great for what I needed and it was very easy to set up with Windows 11. Inexpensive, worked out and did everything I needed it to without spending a lot of money. Great solution in case you need a wired connection for any setup.

Easy to install, cord could be longer. Does it's job. Takes up little space.
