    This adapter allowed us to connect our laptop that didn't have HDMI out to a monitor that only had HDMI in. I wish it was cheaper, since the USB-C variants are cheaper.

    A lifesaver if you want to run 2 monitors without having a new video card installed for much more money. The Geek Squad guy suggested it and it works! Love this!

    I'd buy this one again. My laptop is almost old enough to drive, so i worry about connecting it to anything new. This was "plug and play", my laptop was happy, so am was happy.
