The housing for this device is cheap. There are no securing holes for a cable. Many sites warn using this device on Win10 bricks the OS. While I got it to work it was very difficult. Constantly disconnects.

This was a huge inconvenience for me. I trusted that it was working (AND missing instructions - could have downloaded a copy); could not return it on Sunday so had to go on my lunch on Monday and was charged the full price for the replacement. I guess no discount for purchasing a defective item. Will rethink if I want to purchase future items at Best Buy.

I get a message that this is the wrong adapter. Don't know if it's too old a computer, too old a monitor or what. My friend who helps with these things has been busy so I hope to get it working.
