Great for streaming from laptop to TV

I use this with my surface to plug into Samsung - 50" Class 7 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV to watch outside on my deck under the gazebo. The smart TV work great, but when we want to watch cable tv for live sports it seems to be best using the laptop plugged into the TV using this device.

There is a little delay from when the surface is in sleep mode to when it wakes up to when the second monitor displays. I wish it was faster. I also which it had a second usb-c plug in, in case I ever need a usb-c plug for something else.

Even though it said that it was inspected and ready to go I had issues with it. It was glitching with my MacBook Pro so I had to return it and purchase from a different store that was an un-opened box item. Works better.
