This functions as advertised but when used to connect to an external display on the computer it can be a bit glitchy. Don't know whether that's the computer's fault or the adapter.

I bought this adapter for my iPad Pro, and I have to say it does the job well, connects with my Samsung tv, almost instant, very little to no lag. Amazing

If you have type c ports and need to connect a monitor and the monitor has an HDMI port you are in business. If your monitor does not have an DHMI port get an adaptor for whatever port you have and plug it in and you are in business.

Got this to experiment with, haven't gotten to that yet. This was one of those deals of the day, couldn't pass up.

I was skeptical because it was Insigna but it works pretty good. Occasionally you have to wiggle the cord for it to pick up but all in all, does its job.

Easy hook up and great picture on the TV. It was hard to find for my phone and did a lot of research but no complaints about this product. Works with LG phones!

Tried only once to use it. Hooked my Samsung S9+ to my Samsung HDTV. Great!

Bought this from my wife she uses it for her class at school don’t really know what she uses it for but she says she loves it.

I bought it for my son to use it as an extension on his laptop to watch movies from his laptop and his digital TV and he likes it

The new MaacBook Pros only come with USB-C ports which means that once again none of your expensive Apple connectors and cables will work with your new machine. If you buy them from Apple you will have at least $100 in additional costs above the $2500 for the computer right off the bat. If you have a thunderbolt Monitor you can forget about using it until Apple or a 3rd party come out with a USB-C to Thunderbolt adapter. This adapter works ok but external keyboards experience a lot of latency.

It's been over a year and I still use this everyday without glitches. I'm not sure what else anyone would want as this is a perfect adapter for both my mac and windows products.

Had to buy this as an open box item due to availability. No issues and performs exactly as expected. Would prefer it to give me the ability to charge my HP Elite X2 and run a display out at the same time, but for what it does, it works perfectly.

We purchased this so we could watch a Game of Thrones episode while on vacation. The hotel didn’t have HBO, we subscribe thru Hulu and was able to watch via the iPad. Worked great, my husband and son were happy.

I was looking for an adapter to plug in a pocket projector to my new MacBook Pro. I did some research online and headed out to Best Buy to make the purchase. I had to visit 2 stores to find it but am glad it was available. Worked fine!

Living in an area with no cable service is depressing, or was until I upgraded to the 8s and purchased the usb to hdmi adaptor. I hook my tv up to my phone and watch netflix and other programs. Love the cord for giving me that capability.

Expensive for what it feels like And the simple thing it does, but it works and is more reliable than a cheaper version you could buy on Amazon.

I bought this to connect my Galaxy note 9 to my new Insignia 4k Fire TV since it indicated it was rated for 4k. It did not work. No picture and no sound. I tried the $7.00 adapter and a regular hdmi cable and it worked just fine. To be fair, it was an open box item, but it did not work. Maybe a brand new one would have worked just fine, but I decided to stick with what I had. It may work just fine for someone else, just not for me.

NO PROBLEMS, AMAZING ADAPTOR. I HAD PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED ONE FROM AMAZON AND IT WAS NOT THAT GOOD. GREAT PRICE AS WELL, DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

I bought this to compensate for the shortcomings of a new MacBook Pro that came without an HDMI port. Works great, but it's another thing I have to p[lug into the Mac.

The product worked great right out of the box. I have an external monitor for my iMac and it connected without any issues.
