Apparently does not work with all USB Type-C ports
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After I plugged the USB Type-C-to-HDMI Adapter to my USB Type-C jack, I got a message on the lower left of my screen that said "Only certain computer models with Type C ports allow the display to be projected to a different screen and it needs to have a USB Type C Thunderbolt Port", which I guess I don't have since when I tried to set my computer up for two monitors, the monitor that was plugged into the USB Type C was not recognized. Will return it and order an HDMI adapter with a regular USB and hope that it works. I imagine that it would work fine if I had a Thunderbolt Port. I didn't want to give it a "yes or no" for "I would recommend this to a friend recommendation" since it only didn't work because I just didn't have the right type of USB port. However, I wasn't allowed to post the review unless I ticked yes or no. So I answered no.
