This isn't my 1st device or tablet, so I know what I'm doing g and I read the instructions too. The device don't works at all. Didn't show anything on my TV.

Got up to get a cup of coffee and when a came back and woke up the MacBook, there was a pop and a smell of burned electronics. It was this adapter. And to top it off, now my MacBook won't display on external monitors at all. DO NOT BUY.

The unit only has USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 on it, so I purchased 2 of these adapters to hook up to 2 monitors. Not only did they not display my screen on my additional monitors, they caused my computer to lock up and require me to force shut them down. I returned them and bought 2 more to see if maybe I had just received bad cables, but so was not the case, as the new cables did the exact same thing.

Box advertises Windows 10 works -- it does not

Notice on the website it says only Apple and Chrome are supported. Why didn't the best buy in store staff erase the false claim that it works under windows 10. It does not, as the website for this product notes. I was a poor store shopper that made a special trip all the way to get this thing, climb through all the wires to install it... then windows explains it won't work and to get a different adapter cable. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT WITH WINDOWS 10 -- IGNORE THE FALSE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS ON THE BOX.
