Yuck. It sucks that any of us need this, but...

This is the direction that the laptop manufactures are going with to make units lighter and thinner. So gone are the days of four different output choices right on the side of your laptop. The future is here and it has random intermittent connections. Yae... Not the fault of the literal device so that why three stars instead of one. The device itself is fine.

This one fills a hole in my collection, proving an option to link older laptops or other devices with USB-C to a monitor via HDMI. Haven’t seen any issues yet and I believe I got this at a discounted price. I look for discounts on Insignia adapters I don’t already have. I’ve got USB to Ethernet, USB to USB-C and USB-C to VGA. Haven’t had a problem with any of them yet.
