I have had a few “Wireless” mouses during my 25 years of using computers. Personally I am much more comfortable with a “wired” mouse.This USB Adapter has made the difference between wireless versus wired. So easy to use. Another great Insignia product.

I still have a few USB A accesorys but my iMac is only USB C and this adapter worked great. No issues, it looks pretty sturdy and I hope it lasts a long times. And the price was great

I had just bought a MacBook Air and didn’t realize that it only had usb(c) port. I had to get this and it works well. Next I plan to get an adapter with more ports because of the other accessories I have.

Bought this to plug a second audio interface into Macbook Pro through Hub that only has 2 USB A type ports. Wasn't sure it would work but it does work for this particular device. Couldn't be happier.

So far I've had no problems during this quarentine connecting my digital piano to my Galaxy tablet or my S9+. It does not charge the phone or the tablet while connected.

I had a new Apple computer, a microphone with a standard USB lead. I asked for help and was quickly taken to the right product which worked perfectly not only for that purpose but to transfer the recordings by a standard thumb drive to another computer for editing.

My aunt's Chromebook I gave her has a USB type C port that neither of us used. This allowed her to use her regular USB 2.0 flash drives to upload and download files again, which she does daily for work. A lifesaver for her, a great buy for anyone looking for a similar use!

this USB type c-A adapter works well with the Mac book air I bought. This was on clearance but it is doing its job; buying the multiport does not work well with my computer

There's nothing fancy going on with this, it just works. I think it's a much more convenient option than the other complicated adapters for MacBook (which is what I use this for).

Finally bought a laptop after 4 years using my iPad only. Found that the current connections on the latest MacBook don't match ANYTHING. The USB adapter allowed me to do simple tasks such as connecting my phone or hard drive with my music library.

Got this for my son after he got a new MacBook Pro. Needed to get his GoPro Max 360 connected and his older GoPro and this worked great. Always have had success with the Insignia brand dongles. I would definitely recommend.

Works great with my Surface. The low price made this a great buy. When I purchase I could only find the color white. I really wanted a cable to match my mouse and my keyboard. But white woks.

This is nice to have. Especially, if you use flash drives often like I do. I'm constantly needing to move pictures, videos and other files to and from my phone, to a laptop or other device. This makes it easy.

...other than the fact this purchase would not have been necessary if Apple did not insist on changing all its connection formats every two years which I am sure is fueling a billion dollar accessory industry. Very frustrating however this product works just fine.

This is the best backpack I ever used. It has more than enough pockets. You could use these pockets for, say... an Insignia™ - USB Type-C-to-A Adapter - White. I've heard this is a great cable, that would fit into a backpack pocket perfectly.

This little device helped so much - I needed to back up my MacBook Air, but the external drive I bought did not work. This simple, reasonably priced gadget fixed the problem.

I bought this to use with a MacBook Pro. I've used it with an external hard drive and an external DAC/headphone amplifier, which are both USB 3.0 devices. Both devices work as expected, with no abnormalities to speak of.

The sales associate advised me to buy this product rather than Apple’s product because they are exactly the same but one is significantly cheaper. Works wonderfully & gets the job done! Glad he was honest rather than looking to get us to spend more money.

As you know on the new MacBook pros you have to have a lightning connection to USB cord. This insignia cable is easy to use and set up and allows you to connect the USB devices. I love going to Best Buy for all of my electronics needs :)

Got a new computer for work and didn’t realize it only came with usb-c ports! So I quickly ran up to Best Buy and got this. Works perfectly right out of the box. No problems.
