It's a bit nerve-wracking, though. The ampunt of force you have to put into pulling the USB type A device out of the slot for it made me nervous that I was going to do damage, but I got used to it enough that I don't think it'll be a problem for me. If you have the finesse to borderline yank something out without actually yanking it, and wouldn't rather pay for a better quality cable, I'd recommend this one.

All sorts of restarts on its own after updating and resetting multiple times. Ultimately just tossed it out
