Best under $10 solution to get more USB A ports

With two of these, now I have a total of 5 USB 3.0 ports on my laptop. This sets me up for many peripheral options, and Oculus Rift. BTW, USB C/Thunderbolt are the same on PC and Mac. I have an Acer Predator Helios 500 laptop. I did not want to use hubs or splitters on my USB A ports because that would limit my options for unpowered USB devices.
