    I got the adapter so I could connect my S9+ phone to my recently purchased Cambridge DacMagic DAC. It works great! The DAC has a USB connector while My phone has Mini USB C connector. The adapter allows me to connect the two. It passes the digital audio stream from my phone to the DAC with no issues.
