Works fine. I needed it for improving my internet during pandemic. I ended up not needing it as much as I thought, but it seemed to serve its purpose. No need to buy the more expensive Apple brand adapter.

Really good adapter, It does what’s it’s intended to do. Don’t buy name brand that cost more, this does the job.

I bought this to replace another land cable plug I had mistakenly bought. This adapter works with both my Chromebook and my MacBook

The Insignia gigabit Ethernet adapter is exactly as described and performs just as well as the more expensive “name” brand versions. I would recommend this product.

The USB-C Ethernet Adapter works as you would expect - plugin to C-type port and connect Ethernet cable. Windows 10 detects the adapter and connects to your network card. There are the standard network lights on the adapter to know traffic is flowing and you are connected. Total length is about 4.5” but the cord part is about 3”. Obtained expected speeds around internet plan max so was happy with purchase which was to avoid household’s wifi traffic when conducting video conference calls from home.

This product is a good way to get access to the internet if you need direct connection.
