It's small so it's easily portable. This adapter will allow you to connect any laptop to an ethernet cable. Although there are some that cost more than this one, but this does exactly what it was intended to do with no problems or dropped connections. I highly recommend this one.

Techies may recognize that their cable modem is not capable of 1 Ghz Ethernet, yet some wired networks are. I prefer to see that an item is in-stock rather than shop over the net (which involves shipping charges and possible security of bank cards).
