Fast connection but unreliable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.On windows 10 2004 update the connection nearly maxes out my 1 gig internet service but frequently drops internet. The only way to solve is to unplug the device and replug it in.

Wi-Fi is faster ( 230 Mbps) than Adapter (70Mbps)

Newer model (2017) works faster and older models don't have USB type C. I guess I will keep it as back up.

You get what you pay for

It worked, but the connection was bad and the tablet regularly emitted loud sounds that were highly irritating. I upgraded to a $50 hub, and those sounds went away. If you are trying to find the right ports to hardwire your device without spending $400, this might be a good beginning, but for me it was not a final solution.

Could not get Macbook to recognize LAN connection

I have been using a wifi connection on my Macbook Pro (2017) and decided to see if a LAN connection would speed it up. I know the LAN connection is good because it is currently connecting my Roku. I followed all the set up steps per Apple but the Macbook could never "see" the connection. After a couple of hours of frustration I returned the adaptor. I guess the 200MBS wifi Iam getting is fast enough.

Didn't work

The plug in for the iPadis to big. I would return it,but I've open the Package. How else would I know it wouldn't work ??

Randomly disconnects

Works great till it Dies

I'm sure it's just a defective unit, but still, it died after my return window. Now I'm stuck going through insignia's channels to get a replacement. Maybe I'll stop by a Best Buy store and make my case....but then again it's only a $30 adapter.

Randomly Stopped Working

It has a one year warranty with the company, but you have to make sure you have the receipt still or you are out of luck.

Worse pick up service

junkie adapter fell apart
