Does exactly what it should

Desktop I was having complications with my on board killer nic and wasn't getting the rate I should instant gigabit (like) speeds. I iwas receiving about 700 up and down little pricey but the convenience cant be beat

I needed a direct connection between my laptop and my modem to troubleshoot the problems AND to re-set the modem. This $30 "accessory" from Best Buy worked as well as an Ethernet card inside a computer. My new laptop came without an Ethernet port so this accessory was the only thing allowing me to check my modem's function with certainty. Without it, I could never have convinced my ISP that my Internet instability was on their end, not mine. Thank you, Best Buy, for another great product.
