This one is corded specifically for the Samsung S8 and the DC plug for the power outlet in the car has a USB input so you can charge or operate something else. Really handy for those vehicles with limited power outlets.

I needed one for my new phone that has the USB-C plug and Best Buy has it for the cheapest price. It's their brand and the quality seems pretty good, or better than most that I've have over the years. It will probably outlast my phone......

Be prepared

No problems. I had to get a new one due to the USB-C opening. As in the past, I do not anticipate any problems with this one.
