Starts FIRES in car!!!!!

Worked well until it didn't. It stopped charging one day then I felt it get very hot so I unplugged it. It began to smoke and I didn't realize it for a while. My truck filled with smoke and I had to pull over with my 2 year old daughter in the back seat. I contacted insignia and they said it was past the warranty period. Worst customer service I've experienced. It was a $30 car charger, that's as expensive as they come, which is why I didn't want a cheap one for this very reason. They make garbage. Stay away
