    I was hoping that this head cleaner worked like previous ones I purchased 20 years ago that clean the tape path in addition to the head. I was wrong. It only cleaned the head as advertised. Since I was getting damaged tapes from jamming, I ended up taking the VCR/DVD combo cover off and cleaning it manually. That is how I visually confirmed that this head cleaner really only cleans the head and not the tape path.
