Worked well. Put a few drops of cleaning fluid in the hole in the cassette (it's on the label side of the cassette) and play the cassette for a few minutes. Done.

I have many tapes and new my machine needed cleaning but these are almost impossible to find. Best Buy has it and it works perfect! Thanks again guys!

One of my exercise videotapes had lines going through it. When I used this video cleaner just one time, the next day the same tape played perfectly.

The item cleaned the tape heads just fine, but not the tape path. Had to use long stick with cotton on end to try to reach rollers,

First purchase of product, product was damaged- both internal and external plastic parts of VHS tape were shattered. Cardboard packaging is not able to maintain integrity of product. Exchanged for new product. Second purchase of product, cardboard packaging in perfect condition, but VHS tape would not operate due to loose plastic shards internal to VHS tape rattling around. Exchanged again. Third purchase of product, finally got one that worked in VCR, no broken plastic, easy to use but product did not clean up the dirt on VCR that creates video static and sound distortion. Crappy video still crappy. Conclusion- TOTAK JUNK. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR $$ in buying this product.

I had to run it many times before I saw a difference as opposed to the directions which supposes 1-2runs.

Works great! It's been a while since i used one. Wasn't sure if these were still around.

Don't know if it was a poor cleaner or old just that it was past its shelf life.. but no real difference after using this product so kind of a waste of money.

Thought my dad would have to throw out his VCR player but this saved the day!

Used the product and i wiuld say it made a difference in cleaning the vcr heads. Attempted a second cleaning but then the cleaning line snapped. No longer usable after one use.

looked for product without liquid. this works but a hassle applying the liquid whenever you clean

I was surprised to find out that Best Buy had this for sale. It works perfectly and was just what I needed for my VCR.

Use it often for best results to keep VCR operating at it's best.

Item received was broken. Never had a chance to use it

Did a good job on a vhs player that wasn't used for years.

My tape player picture was not very clear, but after using the cleaner the picture was much better.

Recently my VHS device abruptly lost the ability to make a recording. The message displayed said "please clean heads." So I went to my convenient Best Buy store and got an affordable cleaning kit, came back home and followed the directions. There was no change. I did five treatments, but could not get the tape to record. Aha, I thought. The tape is bad. So I took out another tape, set up and recorded a short one-minute test. When I switched to play back, I got the same request to clean the heads. Same story for three different tapes, all of which worked the previous week. My recorder is a mid-level Panasonic that mostly just sits except for the holidays, when there are specials we want to record, or during the NCAA basketball tournament. Very disappointing result, but I didn't return it because I had used it and it was not expensive. I'll just chalk this one up to failure.

Have used this several times, after experiencing problems with the VCR. Easy to use. Worked well.
