The tape itself looks like a piece of paper that was cut and inserted as a tape cleaner. I ran this tape through approximately 3-4 times and wet the tape a little more each time, and still did not make a difference. I would suggest buying a more expensive one, but more than anything read reviews. I will try this product once again to see if the 3 drops suggested actually need to be 13 drops. Maybe that might help???

VCR cannot use it.

I tried several times. I think it might be because the tape does not extend enough for the VCR to use, but regardless I found a reference online on how to clean it manually that worked fabulously for the cost of a little rubbing alcohol, 2 Q-tips and a piece of paper..

I placed the cleaning fluid in the portal and the cleaning tape got stuck in my VCR. after several attempts the tape finally broke. Due to the cost under $12.00 and the distance to drive to return the product, it was not worth my time and gas to return the product for a refund..

I can’t call my local store and this is a big problem with me. I needed to reschedule my car stereo install and I had to make a special trip into the store to do that. This will be the last purchase that I will ever make with your company.
