Insignia Video Head cleaner

Restored an old VCR to working order!

I pulled my VHS VCR out of storage but it just wouldn't play the tape. I checked Best Buy and was surprised to see VHS head cleaners were even still available so picked this one up, did a few cleaning cycles with it, and BAM! It then played the tape as well as could be expected for a VHS tape recorded at SP in 1991! This cleaner saved my old VCR, my friend's wedding video, and put me in a good position to salvage several other old VHS videos as well while I was all setup to do it. I marked it down a star because the cleaning cycle seems really short so I had to run it through several times to achieve any meaningful cleaning. It worked though -- the smudge left behind on the cleaning material was visually obvious.

I don't think Best Buy made this at all
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This VHS head cleaner got dirty so easily that it couldn't clean my VCRs anymore but make them more dirty. I only had this for about 3 weeks and when I no longer could use it, I smashed it. I don't think Best Buy made this product. I'd rather buy head cleaners online.
