    We bought this to hold our iPhone while using the GPS. The suction cup is great and holds well. The sides of the holder are soft but doesn't seem to hold the phone tight enough. over all not a bad product but could be a little tighter.

    While the head holds the phone well, between the head and the phone, there is too much weight for the gooseneck arm to hold steady. This thing bounces all over the place making it unusable for navigation, the entire point of having the holder in the first place.

    This mount works best attached to the windshield. It does not attach to a textured dash board. At least not mine. The grip mechanism for my iPhone is bulky an difficult to rotate for viewing when mounted to the side of the windshield. I bought a different mount.

    I bought this for my Samsung Galaxy S5 and it was not a good fit. The suction works wonderfully, but the pieces that are supposed hold your phone just wouldn't grip my phone well. I can't speak for other phone models, but I definitely do not recommend this for the Samsung Galaxy S5.
