The only way to get the phone to be securely seated was to remove the item from the vent and use both hand to squeeze side holders. I returned it.

I understand the vent holder which in essence would be great during the summer months, but during the winter it would be "heat" coming out the vent and I thought the objective for cell phones is to NOT get them overheated. I took it back.

Your phone may look secured by design, but any bump can easily move it out of place or out of the holder completely. I am currently in search of a new cell phone holder for my car.
