Easy to get the phone in and out. I have it stuck to the windshield. I did not attach it to the vent as there was a warning, if I remember it right, that it wasn't meant to be (easily) portable from car to car if I did that.

it's a nice product for what it does.

The second one was much easier to install. It's very sturdy once it's on. I like using it hooked to my vents instead of windshield, but it does offer both options. The price is right.
