Works for my needs

I have not tried the suction one yet. My son said using the suction one is in his line of sight when making turns. It meets my needs for the new California law where you can't hold your phone.

It seems like a good mount, but it was too small for my phone and the neck wasn't high enough. I have a F150 and wanted a neck over two inches to clear an area in my truck. This will work if you are mounting on a flush service with a phone smaller than my Droid Turbo.
