I installed this in a Ford Fusion 2015 plug in Hybrid and put it on the vents, it will put my cellphone exactly where I wanted to the left vent in my right side when driving, it holds my Galaxy note 4 with the Otter Box defender with no problems and strong grip.

This Insignia mount, works very well with my iPhone Plus which has some weight, that is including with the protective case on my phone. But I have to say this vehicle mount works good for me. Includes 2 version in the box.

Not a knock on other Insignia items just never expect good things from a store brand per say. But works well on the window mount and even better in vent mount. I have a 2012 Honda Accord and it holds the vent well with and iPhone 7 Plus on it

I bought the cell phone mount because I want one for a rental car I was using on vacation. The price was right and you get a lot for the money: different mounts for different applications. I used the mount connection that clipped into the grill on the dash. I didn't know until I went to return the car that the grill clips are not intended to be moved or removed. It is tough to do so without breaking anything. (There is a warning about that in the instructions which I hadn't noticed.) The mount I use in my car is smaller, less bulky and easier to install and move. On the other hand, this one has an adjustable arm on the mount that enables someone to angle the phone and keep it in that position.

putting a phone in the holder is a little awkward.

Good portable mount to use for travel in rental cars for smartphone and/or GPS. Like that It can be either attached to the AC vents or the goose neck window mount. Would be nice if the sides could fold flat for packing for travel, but not bad.

Needed a budget friendly phone mount and ran across this one. It is easy to use, serves its purpose and didn't hurt the wallet too much. For those looking for a bargain in mounts try this one 1st.

Will not hold my iPhone 7 with the case I currently have on it. It's too heave to keep up. I bought 2, for my wife and I, hers droops and mines falls off after a while. Great product if you don't have a heavy case.

I used this for a week and a half road trip in the pacific northwest and the mount is junk. Not only did bounce a lot while driving, I had to press the release button on the side up to 20 times to get the mount to release the phone. The suction stayed put for the most part but did come off twice in a week and a half which isnt too unexpected for the fact it was sitting in direct sunlight a good portion of some of the days.

Very please wih my purchase. Works as advertised. Sticks well to my window. I have not tried the vent attachment, so I cannot attest to how well that feature works, but as for the rest, it holds my phone well, easy release and holds well to the windshield.

This is my first attempt on finding a hands-free device for my iPhone. After messing around with it in the car trying to find a place that it actually worked properly and was convenient I decided I'm going to return this item. My main reason for returning would probably be narrowed down to how the phone is held by the device. The mechanism for putting your phone and it is kind of cheaply made. it takes a lot of struggling to get the phone to stay and sometimes it doesn't open very easily either and is becoming more trouble than it's worth. Sorry This is not a better review but it's been sitting in my backseat for weeks. I hate returning things because it takes so much time but has to be done best wishes to you all
