It does not stay secure in your vent. But I will say it does open up wide enough to secure a large phone

Very easy to install seems to be universal fit for most devices.

It's an ok car mount. The suction cup will sometimes fall for no reason. The airvent hanger is very hard to setup.

I have the iPhone 7 plus and every time I put my phone sideways in the holder, It would fall off every now and then.

The mount works well for attaching to the vent. The grip for the phone however, tends to push the phone out of it. Returned it.

I was looking for a cradle with a longer neck. Neck isn't long enough, for me in a full size pickup windshield.

I bought this 6 weeks ago and mounted it to my windshield. Since then, it has been holding strong. I use it for my iPhone 6s.

This does exactly what it is supposed to do, holds my iPhone 8 in otter box. I have it setup against the windscreen.

Laws are coming out stating you can't have your phone in your hands while driving. This is the gadget you need. Works great!

While this holder does work.... sort of, my phone keeps sliping out the bottom. Might be that my case makes it too thick.

Bought this as an emergency as I was traveling and needed something. It worked for the trip but only lasted 6 months. I think the heat/humidity of south Louisiana got to it. If you need something quick, it’ll get the job done. If you looking for something to last, pass on it and get something made by XVIDA.

Works great and sticks to windshield. I had a different one that didn't stick to windshield. Also comes with attachment to hook into air vent.

This holds the I Phone perfectly. Only problem is if you can not shut your vent off, the phone gets hot when using the car heat.

I use this product with a Samsung S4 Active and over all have had a good experience with it. There are a couple issues that prevent me from saying that this item is "great". First, the ribs that hold the phone in place can make it a little tricky to get the phone clamped in properly. It takes a little finesse and the use of two hands is a must. My preference would to be have smooth surfaces to clamp against the phone rather than the rubber grooves, this would make insertion much easier. Second, the clips that hold the phone to the air vent are difficult to operate. There are no tabs on the spring loaded clamps so it takes a little effort and perhaps a couple of tries to get them locked onto the vent properly. Once they're on, they hold well but there were a few frustrating moments getting to that point. The window mount is a great option but personally that puts the phone a bit far away to see well. I use this for GPS purposes so the air vent option is a better choice for me. Over all, I would recommend this item to someone who is looking for an inexpensive way to mount their cellphone in their car. It works well once you get past the initial frustrations.
