    The mount does the basic but the reason I gave it 2 stars is because with certain cellphone cases the grips it has won't always hold the phone correctly compare to another one I had bought that wasn't insignia. I think this mount would work for phones without cases, but I won't risk the possibility of damaged phone.

    The mount is very strong and has held on the glass for quite a while. The only issue I have is the way the arms hold the phone are not as strong as I had hoped, the phone can slip out of the grip if you do not wedge it in just right. There are many options on how to hold the phone though and it works well once you get a good fit.
