This vehicle adapter splitter by Insignia was a total waste of money. I purchased this unit during a journey in order to charge both my phone and gps unit. One evening, I returned to my car after work only to discover to my dismay and horror that my car wouldn’t start. I had to leave my vehicle overnight at the location. I called for roadside assistance the next day and they helped to jump start my car. I drove it straight to the dealership where a diagnostic check revealed that it was the Insignia adapter splitter that had caused the battery drainage. Thanks Insignia. I threw that junk in the trash like a dirty diaper since it was past the two weeks grace period and I couldn’t return it!!!

Fits Land Rover, BMW sockets. Previous adapters would fall out. Reliable, stays connected.

It does the job, and fast at charging. It would be nice if it didn't have to be so big.

it's nice to be able to have additional cigarette ports available when on the road.

Well it works but everything I plug into it keeps coming out, so i'm constantly pushing it back in. It is a pain

Does exactly what it is designed to do. I needed the device for a next day road trip, and even though the Best Buy web site indicated store inventory quantities, I had to visit 3 Best Buy stores before finding a store that actually had the product in stock. I'm glad I was eventually able to purchase this product.

Great power adapter. Small and compact. Solid unit. Worth the money.

one "socket" did not work with one of my plugs. switching the plugs solved the problem. the next time with the same two plugs i twisted both when inserted and had no problems. could have been the unit or the plugs....as long as it worke, don't care which.

it is very great to have this in the van so I can hook more stuff up;)

Bough this for my wife's car to give her some more power adapter options and the way the tip of the plug is designed, it doesn't make contact properly in the outlet to supply it power. Tried it in our others cars as well and had the same problem. Had to push it in with all my force to get it to power on, but as soon as you eased up, it would lose power. Had to return and search for a different product.

Works great for what I need ! Would recommend and buy again .
