My first smart speaker purchase and I'm not disappointed. Wish I would have gotten 2 when they were on sale at $30 but def worth the $50 sale price too! Does almost everything the Google Home does (no phone calls). Speaker produces great sound and the mic picks up command well. Has a nice LED clock that displays the temp briefly when asked.

I have 2 of these and 3 Echo's. This integrates with my Smarthings and Harmony hub and voice control is much quicker. Google is significantly more accurate and flexible with inquiries. However it really cannot compare to the skills Amazon offers. The sound is great and unlike Amazon it works with most music services including Spotify free.

Sounds surprisingly robust! I have 20 ft ceiling in the large room which I have placed. It remarkably is very loud. It had some issues out of the box with the proximity sensor that have totally gone away over time. I a guessing there were some updates. Moving it away from direct light helped too! I would buy another one of these when needed.

My wife is very difficult to buy anything for. This one one of the few gifts I've ever bought her that she immediately like out of the box. The sound is great, we enjoy the music selections, and we use the "Hey Google" set a timer for X - minutes for whatever we're doing in the house. We might get a second one. And the price was right.

This is just like Google Home Mini with even better sound quality and Bluetooth speaker option. I got 2 of these during a sale for $20 each which is probably the best purchase I could make for my money. With the latest software update, you can make calls with wifi via Google Assistant just link any other google home devices.

Bought as deal of the day and didnt expect much but figured it would go good in the bathroom. I actually really like it. I especially enjoy something simple as having a clock on the unit. Not sure why google home doesn t include a clock. I would buy again. Speaker sounds almost as good as google home and way better then the google mini.

This smart speaker has some great sound quality and decent bass production. I like that it has a display for the time. It is really responsive with the voice commands and performs just like the google home speakers from Google themselves. For the price it seems like a really good deal.

I purchased this speaker with skepticism, but I have to confess that I have been pleasantly surprised by its capabilities and a decent sound quality. It is no Apple HomePod when it comes to sound quality, but then again, it is no where close to the HomePod price either. The Google Home app has quite a few issues... I faced issues with hooking up my existing Wemo devices to it; the Google Home app would not show me the "continue" button! After some research, I clicked in the white space where the button should have existed, and VIOLA! A week later, I was able to add an additional Wemo device as well, but with some more research. The new device did not show up on the Google Home App, but saying "Hey Google, sync my devices" did the trick. The Google Home App has bugs and needs improvement, but you only need it for setup, and it is not Insignia's fault. So I did not deduct any starts.

Surprisingly rich sounding speaker...pretty good bass even for this size...with integrated Google Assistant that's nealy as capable as GA on the genuine Google Home & Home Mini smart speakers. Bought this because it was at a decent sale price...but I'd certainly consider paying full refund retail price. Well done, Insignia!

Had the unit for about a month. Works great,easy setup and works like any google home or mini... with a addition of clock and temperature readout. Just hope they update firmware when needed like the google products (thats why just the 4 stars,will change after 1st update)

This is my first smart home voice activated speaker. I was comparing this product with Google Home Mini and decided to give this a try when it went on sale for about the same price. The speaker sound great and have no problem using the Google Assistant features.

I bought this on Deal of the Day for only $24.99--a definite steal! I honestly don't think it's worth the regular price of $99, however. While it has a small footprint and looks quite elegant on one of our living room side tables, there is one annoying aspect of it--the display. The digital clock display is slightly blurry and therefore constantly looks out of focus, like it either needs to be cleaned or it's deceiving you into thinking you need a new eyeglass/contact lens prescription. But, that pesky aspect aside, it works flawlessly as a Google Home. Before buying this I already had a Google Home Mini, so I was familiar with the whole Google AI technology system. (We also happen to have an Amazon Echo Dot, and overall the Google AI works much better, smoother, and responds more relevantly and correctly.) So when this went on sale for a great price, I snatched it right up. At a fraction of the price of a regular Google Home, and half the price of a Google Home Mini, it can't be beat. The speaker sounds good as well. We have a Google Play Music/YouTube Family Plan so it''s fun to just ask Google to play virtually any song we want.

Been using it for a month now. Easy set-up and easy to use. Great alarm clock. Love the features. Nice to be able to get a weather report and a traffic report while getting ready for the day. Have also used it to play relaxing sounds to go to sleep and to play music during the day. The speaker quality is excellent.

Great sound quality, much better than the Google Assistant. Sleek, modern design. The always on clock is a big plus. Only negative is that I can't find a way to have it always show the temperature. You have to ask each time. With that, it would give it 5 stars.

Works great. Cannot make phone calls like you can with Google home but everything else is great. Bought a 2nd smaller one for office. Certainly sound better than Google home mini. A GREAT VALUE and I like the clock display on it. I have a mini, JBL and (2) of these and like these better than the JBL and the Mini.

I owned other Google Assistant products, so I picked these up at a great price. Wanted whole home audio using Google Play. Speakers are good, good sound, easy to set up. Only issue is you can't do continued conversation like you can with the Google Home.

Bestbuy had these dirt cheap quite a few times. I absolutely love this speaker. Easy to setup. I like that it displays the time. It also displays the outside temp once you ask it what the temperature is. Sounds pretty good too for what it is. I've never been let down by Insignia products.

I'm much satisfied with this purchase. It is a very competitive product at a very affordable price. Works really well. the speaker quality is nice. google assistant is a cherry on the cake. Clock is basic. One could also use it very well for home automation.
