Not bad for the price. Not the best either. It does the job. Sounds good. Sometimes it just randomly disconnects from the wifi. The bluetooth range is not great either.

it hears me form across the room or sometimes when I'm in the next room. better sound quality would get it 5 stars. I got one for my parents as well who mostly use it to control the chrome cast when kids are over.

Had this for awhile and it works well. There's been a couple of times when it has lost connection with the internet. Use it as an alarm or for music. Bought two and shut more

I love this item so much! I had a chance to buy this for sale price. I worked perfectly and love the screen. It will show the outside temperature if you ask the weather to google. I would buy them again if I have a chance.

great product at a great price - I got it at memorial day sale and it was 20% of what the comparable google product price - so took the chance and found all the features were comparable but got the added feature of a digital clock so better suited for the bedroom night stand

love this alarm clock very convenient to set up at night for someone that dont feel like getting up out of bed to set alarm. Pretty loud for the size also. only thing that i dont like is the internet bumps off alot

I have put it in my bedroom, the time on the speaker is visible from the bed so, we don't have to look for phone for checking time at night and Google Assistant is able to hear us from far, it's pretty awesome..Got it for 20$ when it was on Sale, totally worth it!!

It has a digital display that gives time when connected to network, if network is not connected then it shows wired. Hears the voice at a distant but not clearly while playing songs. Bluetooth pairing and alarm is available.

It sound pretty good. The setup was a bit of a pain. It also has no backup if the power goes out or loses internet so alarms may not sound as and fyi.

I want to love this smart speaker, but it's not a reliable alarm clock. I have had to reset it twice since purchasing, because it changed time zones by itself . Thankfully I was off work today. I glanced at it a few times and realized it was displaying 11:21 for the past several minutes. The time wasn't changing. It wasn't until I looked at my phone, I discovered that it was actually 9:45. The speaker was still responding to commands though. Unplugging it fixed it, but I guess I'll have to use my phone as a backup from now on. Hopefully there will be an update to resolve these issues.

I received this item with a purchase of a Ninja Blender. I gifted it to my brother and he really enjoys it. He is constantly using it for everyday tasks and chores. Playing music, keeping up to date on the news, or even asking it to solve mathematical problems for his homework.

The good: Insignia design is modern and fits in any room. The unit is well sized to fit on a small night stand. Set up is easy as any Google smart speaker. The microphone picks up voice well. The touchless features work probably 90% of the time Needs improving: Would have been nice to have a back up battery in the unit just in case of a power outage. The USB could be higher amperage for faster charging of devices. Software needs to be updated so it can do the same new features as the Google products like ability to make a call and 8 second delay until shut off to minimize the use of "hey google".

This works pretty much identical to Google home (works with chromecast, schedules, plays music, controls lights, etc), with the only difference is that it gets updates a bit slower because they come through Insignia rather than Google. The clock function is a nice touch.

Initially I was very frustrated with this device not receiving the latest firmware. After trying a few days, it got the update automatically so everything is working as it should. Sound is decent.

Other than a weak WiFi receiver (seems to have problems reliably connecting even though my cell phone right next to it has no issue connecting) I find this useful to check the weather when I get up in the morning.

Gets the job done and comes in handy with controlling my smart lights. I do wish there was a way to cancel alarms without talking to it when I wake up right before it is about to go off but don't want to wake my wife.

This is my first Google home and I love it. Its responsive and interacts pretty well without any noticable lag. I will sync my Hue receiver once I figure out where I would install the lights I want to control and hopefully it will work just fine with it. More to follow!

Good clock and assistant. However when I ask questions it sometimes doesn’t know basic things like the weather and tells me to go to my setting. I reword how I ask about the weather and it works most of the time.

Affordable Speaker to add to your wholehouse collection.Has a battery so you can unplug and take out on the patio.You can't make calls from this or any other aftermarket speaker..yet.Come on Google what gives?

I bought this as a Deal of the Day for a great price. I like it so much I bought the portable one for another room and to move about. Haven't used it to it's full A.I. capabilities but really should since I have a Google Chromecast it is compatible with.
