We're enjoying this so far. Everything works as expected. Changing volume on GH is very easy and it gets all the channels. I wish the time screen is a little bigger but the light makes it easy to read.

I got this on a great sale because I wanted an alarm clock that could play Pandora. I don't regularly use the Google Assistant function. It's a novelty I guess, but I don't see a real use for it. It must be used to set the alarm, which I dislike. Also, there was a power outage in my area about a week ago, since that time, it frequently loses internet connection and won't get it back unless you unplug and plug it back in. I certainly wouldn't pay full price for this, but it is OK.

I love the alarm clock. It received 4 stars because I had a hard time initially connecting to WIFI. Once you get pass the connection it’s the best.

I have several Google Assistant enabled devices and this fits right in the rest of my stuff. It's classy looking with a small footprint, but puts out some decent audio. When they go on sale, they're a steal.

About half the size of the potable model, but will the same features you would find on the classic Google Home smart speakers. My daughter uses it as a source of music when studying, as well as her alarm clock.

I bought it for my families as a Christmas gift. They were Very Pleased and love it very much! The only issue is sometime we had hard time to make it hear our words.

Couldn't beat the price, when it was on sale. Setup was very simple, and it's interface with the Google home is great. It was easy to add it to a speaker group to get music in another area in my house

The only problem I have is that this doesn’t seem to get updates from Google like the original Google Home does. Other than that, it’s a very good option.

Its going to be a gift for my daughter for Christmas. It arrived on time and looks great! I will review again when she receives it and uses it! Can't wait!

We have to keep resetting the time by unplugging it, but overall it plays really nice for the sound of the cube.

I'm using this product very carefully and still it responds smoothly. I'd kept this near my home tv, hence sometimes due to certain dialogues from tv google assistant gets activated.

I love my insignia Google alarm clock. It does pretty much everything a Google home device does at a much lower price (sale) . I love that I can see the time, unlike my other smart speaker devices.

I like everything about it, except for the fact that I can not figure out how to have the alarm I set to go of with one of the music subscriptions I have.

If you are a person who wants privacy, this is not for you...devices like this are always listening. Not Government, Secret Service or Any 3 letter agency approved

Google functionality is identical with Google products, speaker is ok if your using to play music in a small room. At 100% volume sound gets a bit muffled

Nice bass and midrange. Great respond to voice range. LED display could be clearer and brighter. App could have more features like tone when listening.

lots of improvement needs to be done .this came for free for small appliance purchase .in general this is over priced item but as it got for free i am accept it :)

overall a good speaker that connects pretty well to other hardware...but...its not as smart as i expected it to be. sadly alexa is a good deal better as far as intuitivness...if you are however looking for something cheap to handle basic tasks then this is it! i have it in my work space and use it to play sound for music and movies...thats about all the function it seems to be able to manage.

I have little use for a Google Home speaker, so this was purchased mostly for the alarm clock, as I wanted to be woken up by Pandora or something other than a shrill alarm. First, it loses connection with my home wireless network regularly, maybe every other day. The only way to get it to reconnect is to unplug it and plug it back in. That's a hassle. Second, there needs to be a way to set the alarm the old-fashioned way: with buttons. If one spouse goes to bed before the other, it is obnoxious to have to say "Hey Google, set the alarm for XX:XX" and to then have the speaker reply. It wakes up my spouse whenever that happens, and is therefore less than ideal. Third, you are supposed to be able to snooze the alarm by waiving your hand over it. That rarely works for me unless my hand is very close, and more often than not, I end up accidentally brushing the "off" button which turns the alarm off rather than snoozing it. Maybe if you want this more for the Google Assistant capabilities and less for the alarm clock, then it would be fine. For me, the Google Assistant was a novelty that wore off after a few days. Other than asking for the weather and setting the alarm, I have no use for the Assistant. And because the alarm function is directly tied to the assistant, the alarm clock itself can be inconvenient to use. As for me, I'll probably go back to a regular old alarm clock.
