Works good playing music & answers questions re: facts, weather, etc. It does not work well with calendar.

wish i could give 3.75 stars. works well, would be better if it was portable. might exchange for the portable version

Set it up to WiFi and google assistant built in with Bluetooth connectivity makes this a versatile gadget

this one has very low volume. I was standing near it and could not hear it that good. I am 46 now but wow.

works well like that it shows the temperature outside and the time continuously.

Still getting to know this speaker. For me it’s not as easy to use as my son’s Alexa but definitely liked the price.

This smart speaker doesn't come with a built in battery option and this make the speaker not a portable one

We received this speaker as an add-in and did not think we would use it. It comes in very handy for a kitchen timer/recipe box and music speaker. The only problem was it quit working and couldn't find the internet after about a year. I couldn't get it to reset and find the internet, so now it just occasionally says, 'can't find the network'. Very sad....

I got this product for free with purchase of another product. If I have to buy, then it’s definitely expensive.

I want to love this and it's got some nice features. Integrates with Google home but the Wi-Fi only connection is a bit wonky. One this for sure if you have this in the bed room and you loose internet connection this darn thing will start talking at 200am saying that it cannot connect to the internet. This is OK I have four of them so we can play music throughout the house.

Works as a Bluetooth speaker, I can’t seem to figure out how to use other features. Very difficult to navigate

Overall I like the speaker but it's way more limited in function than the Google assistant from Google.

Speaker turns on randomly by itself. Overall not too bad. Has trouble hearing you if and when it's turned up.

I was looking for a small Bluetooth speaker to use in the bedroom that wouldn't break the bank and came across the Insignia Voice. It filled the role of two devices since there's an alarm clock built-in so I could do away with my old one and not clutter up my nightstand. I thought the built-in Google Home would be a nice addition, especially at this price point. The sound quality is not stellar, but is decent enough for my needs. Setup was quick and easy through the app. Google Home still lags pretty far behind my go-to intelligent assistant, but I don't really need that capability in the bedroom. Hopefully, future software updates will help, but Google simply isn't far enough along at this point to draw me away from my current tech. I haven't tried integrating this unit into my smart-home devices as I'm not sure Google and Alexa would play nicely together. If you're already in the Google ecosystem, you would do well adding this unit to your collection. If, like me, you're invested in other systems, it's still a good device to have for playing music at moderate levels (via wifi or Bluetooth) while integrating a display for time and temperature (although I do wish you could set a longer length of time to show the temp as it disappears relatively quickly). All in all, a decent buy, especially if you can catch it on sale.

Brought this to use in one of the guest bedrooms. It woks well and the sound quality is decent.

I purchased this thinking it was basically the same as a google home but it isnt. You'll be quick to find that a lot of the features present on the google home are unavailable on this device because it is a few firmware versions behind and it is completely up to insignia on if they will update the device as google updates theirs. This means potentially dropped support in the future. If I can return this, I'm 100% going to and I'm getting a mini instead. Certain features this lacks are routines and phone calls, both of which were available on the home for quite some time now.

In the two hours that it worked, this was actually a good product. Liked the clock screen and the sound quality actually was decent. Unfortunately, it stopped working after a few hours, became unresponsive, wouldn’t reset after unplugging, and wouldn’t factory reset at all so it became unusable.
