it is Ok, it is kind of slow to response, small and cute

This might work great for some people, but not us. I thought we had good internet but the speaker wouldn't pick up what you said or always responded with there was an issue. Lots of time trying to set up. Not a very enjoyable gift like we had hoped for.

Does not respond all the time to request for songs

I bought this speaker less than three months ago and half the time it doesn't work. When I say "OK Google" and ask a question, it replies "Something went wrong , try again in a few seconds." So I wait a few seconds and try again, and again, and again. I contacted Google Assistant tech support and they were helping me until I mentioned that it was an Insignia speaker with Google Assistant. They told me because it was not a Google product they don't offer tech support and to contact Best Buy, and they won't help you unless you pay for Geek Squad tech support, which costs more than I paid for the speaker. I have tired rebooting the speaker by unplugging it for one minute, but that is not a long-term solution.

The bluetooth of the speaker is not stable sometimes.

I was looking for an alarm clock and bought the insignia voice smart Bluetooth speaker and alarm clock with google assistant because it was on sale. It worked great for 5 days. Then I began having problems with the music. I’d ask google to play something from pandora and the music pauses every 5 to 10 seconds. It got so annoying that I stopped using it for anything other than an alarm clock. The numbers on the alarm clock are fuzzy, not clear. I should have returned it right away. I don’t recommend this product to anyone. I tried looking up on how to solve my problem. It seems others have had the same issues. Problem is still not solved. I’ve owned this for a month. I’m dissatisfied.

Mics are great but the speakers are wither too low or too loud, and since it's suppose to be a clock and next to your head in bed it's a real issue. While casting to all my home speakers this is the weakest one and I have to go and manually adjust it

Junk is putting it nicely. Doesn’t work. Bought 10 of these for $19.00 each for their door buster sale. I thought I was getting a great dea... little did I know I was buying a $19.00 paper weight. Alarm doesn’t work, set up is a joke, everything that’s asked to google gets error response. Only good side is as of right now the clock works. So if you want to buy a clock/paper weight this is the item for you. If you want to buy it with to perform any of the task it was designed to do you will be disappointed. Consider yourself warned.

Purchased this for my daughters room. Seems to always get knocked off the wifi network despite being relativity close to my wireless gateway. I often see dashes indicating no time available. I may have to go to the old fashion alarm clock.

Okay sound quality, but not as good as the Google Home itself. My biggest problem with this thing is how incredibly slow it interfaces with the Google Assistant API. There are significant delays in commands and it gets to be a hassle to use.

Easy set up out of the box and its use is pretty self explanatory via voice without any research. The Google home app is helpful with other things this device can do with connected smart devices. At regular price I would also look at the Google mini, I feel the sound quality of the mini is a tad better. However at easy listening levels this is very pleasing. Decent base and good highs, like I said good quality relative to what we are talking about. I do like the clock display on this unit which the mini does not have. I have/will use this one for an auxiliary alarm clock in my room. Bluetooth capability allows connections to just about anything and the USB port is a good option that will also allow charging. All things considered this is a great option, even a better bargain while it is on sale. I would recommend.

When I saw the capabilities of this product and the my reaction was of happiness. Unfortunately when I took it home 2 things stood out. I could never set the time right as it was always 1 hour behind or 30 minutes. Followed the support staff instructions with no success. I also noticed I couldn't use automation commands as Ok Google, Good Night to perform the pre-configured task. The item was returned to the store after 4 days of troubleshooting the time zone issues. Used many time zones with no success as the setup process depends on the phones time settings could not configure independently. Hope the next updates fix this.

I bought for an alarm but it connect to WiFi and anytime I would say google set my alarm for etc. it would say it did it then right away say try again later or their was an issue. Great concept just didn’t work for me.

Received it free with purchase. After using it for a week the Bluetooth started to malfunction. I did put it in my bag and took it in a road trip. If you will never drop or jostle it in any way, then it's good. Big lag in the audio.

I bought this over the google and amazon version because of the time and weather display. I was a little displeased at the sound quality, and that it often disconnects from my Spotify account while playing music.

Worked great for month. Then alarm stopped working. Can still ask Google for information or music. Works great. Just no alarm clock function anymore. Ask Google for alarms and get answer that they are working.

Not the best device out there. My brother in law had such difficulty setting this thing up. And it wouldn’t show time correctly. We had to find the go around just for it to display the time correctly. ☹️ Never again.

Have bought multiple voice assistants but this brand and model is the only one that keeps disconnecting and, what's worse, it keeps needing to be re-setup. Each time it becomes a tedious one-hour hit-or-miss task of getting it connected. The only one that keeps doing that. We've got Google Home, Google Home mini, Amazon Echo, Sony, etc. But this is the only one experiencing that problem therefore it is not a router or network issue but a product issue.

This was a free gift that came with a Keurig we purchased online. I gave it away as a gift. Our daughter said it was hard to hook up and didn't do all it was advertised to do. At least it was free.

Ok, I received this item for free when I purchased a small kitchen appliance. I can’t say much about the speaker because I haven’t been able to use it. You need to download the google home app to set the speaker up. I wanted to use this as an alarm clock in my room, which is the farthest room away from my modem. I sat for an hour trying to get the speaker connected to my WiFi with no luck! I tried moving the speaker closer and still nothing! I got so frustrated, I quit! So, maybe I’ll try again later, but until I have a working clock/speaker this product is a dud.
