This unit has a good sound quality for the price. This is the second one I bought. It has a nice clock that stays lit and other features for less than the Google brand. I may yet buy a third one.

Got a good price on this unit. Easy to use. I even found my 2 year old granddaughter even asking Google assist on this unit to change a song for her.

The volume of speaker is loud enough for filling the whole bed room. The Google assistant is a plus and is very useful. I got 3 of them for broadcast.

I got 2 of these during the holiday for free, and I love mine and I gave the other to my daughter. Its really easy to use, and its easy to set up. I have it set up in my room and use it as my alarm clock.

This is my first smart speaker. works well as a bedside alarm. I can ask google the time, news or weather without looking at my phone. Great to just tell it to wake me up at certain time or use as timer.

We like this speaker. Small enough to fit most places. Easy to set up with other speakers for functions like broadcasting messages in the home. We use it much more than we thought we would.

Looking at this item online, I thought it was an alarm clock with Google assistant built in. It is not. First, the picture is deceptive. The temperature read out only displays when you ask what the temperature is. Not constantly, secondly, the time display only works when the device is connected to the internet. I frequently lose internet access, so this unit has nothing displayed. In terms of it's functionality, it is not as good as Google Home. The microphones do not pick up my voice easily - I need to repeat commands often and at louder volume than with the Google unit. This unit also does not allow you to place phone calls, which the Google does. The speaker is okay, not high fidelity. In summary, if you are looking for something to play background music without full Google Assistant support, it's a good unit. If you want easy voice recognition, ability to place phone calls or high fidelity, this is not the way to go.

Great sound and easy to use. Syncs with your phone to play favorite song list or station or tv app. Ask it the temperature outside or many other questions.

This is great for the promotional price. The speaker sound great and google assist make it a perfect buy. Very helpful can be connect to your smart home device so you can control your home.

This is my second pair. I have 2 of the bigger brother and 2 of these. While they are very nice as individual units, when you buy 2 of them and create a "speaker pair" as Left and Right speakers in google home settings, they sound better than you'd think... the 2 together in stereo sound far better than they do individually. These, and the bigger brother Insignia's are fantastic sounding speakers. Note: I have a couple high-end systems, and while these won't obviously compete with audiophile-class systems, they are none the less pleasing to listen to. I have mine in a 12'x12' room and they achieve a nice listening level which very good dynamic range.

I initially purchased this for my college daughter, but after testing it out, I fell in love with it. Now it’s mine. The sound and the clarity is unbelievable. This is a great product at a great price.

First IoT product purchased and though it does not work as a speaker for a phone it has a great speaker and works well with blue tooth. Excellent value

I found this one as the deal of the day. Because I moved to the 2-story house and all kids' room are upstairs, I tried to find a good way to communicate them. I used one Google Home and its "announcement" feature. From description, I found that this one is compatible with Google Assistant, and gave it a try. Not as good as Google Home for the speaker quality, but it is good enough for communication from downstairs to upstairs. I put two of them into each kid's room, and I use it when the dinner is ready or so. And my 5th grade kid uses it as its own alarm, and the younger daughter asks Google to play some music in the morning! Great substitute with great price.

I have Google home and this is a great addition to the collection. Best part is that it has the clock. You can dim the lights of the clock at night. It's in the Google home app settings.

I ordered this for my sons bedroom after I bought one for mine. It is fun technology. I got a really good deal on it and it was worth it for a bluetooth speaker for their room. One of my sons likes to ask Google a million sports questions. Fun stuff but the Google assistant technology still needs work. We have run in to a few glitches with these but it could just be the difficulty of the device to get the wifi signal. I wish there were some functions that could still work even if it can't get the signal. Especially basic things.

The Google assistant part is great. Speaker quality is good enough. Price is right. Alarm clock = fine. Problem is simple..... Display is too small
