Hard to set up, almost impossible to set up two or more using the same phone and app, had to set up the second one using another phone. Amazon Echo is much better.

This gave me problems soon after purchase. Stopped working and difficulty resetting and getting it to connect to devices again. Same problem others report

The clock stayed in load mode and I could never get it setup. After 3 reset attempts and waiting more than 24 hours for it to complete the firmware update I decided to return it for a refund.

I bought one a week back and had a hard time setting it up. After several attempts I managed to program the speaker. This one will not go out of the load status, turn off or restart. Bad software. They need to fix the software issues

The setup was easy and the Voice was working within a minute or two. The microphone must be more sensitive than the Google Home since it beats the Home to responding to my voice even when I am actually closer to the Home when sitting at my desk. The sound quality is pretty nice for something of this size and price range. I was surprised that it won't make voice calls like the Home. The bluetooth and alarm clock features are great, though I am one of the people who doesn't like a clock to be in my range of vision at night, so I positioned it so the light from the clock's display isn't "aimed" at me in bed. I like asking it what time it is without having to look at it, though the other home assistants will also do that. It's priced right. Hopefully the calling features will be added with software updates.

I tried the same device twice thinking maybe the first one was just bad. It wouldn't set up, wouldn't link, showed no devices found. I went to Insignias website and they couldn't help me either. I was doing everything right.

We bought 2 of these for our kids to put in their rooms and we were so excited about them. Unfortunately, the alarms wouldn't work and it appears that the software would not update making it not work with Google Assistant.

Just like other Insignia products I have bought, they just stop working for sometime. I even wonder why I keep buying their products, probably because it is low priced and cost more in the long term. Sad!

This Insignia Google Assistant speaker really surprised me. I wasn't expecting much out of it but, the sound quality is actually pretty good. Don't expect Hi-Fi quality sound but, for a low cost speaker I really think they did well, I would definitely put it on par with the rest of the other Google Assistant speakers out there in the same price range. The Google Assistant features work just like they do on any other Google Assistant speaker. If you are familiar at all with that you'll be able to pick this right up. If you haven't used Google Assistant before, it's easy to use and extremely useful. The Bluetooth also works well, just like any other Bluetooth speaker, if you'd rather pass music from your phone rather than casting using Chromecast. What I really think differentiates this speaker is the little things that make it perfect for a bedside table. The built-in clock is bright and easy to read. It's compact enough to stay out of the way, and there's also even a USB port for charging your phone! It may not be much but, not having to reach behind the bed to unplug my charger is awesome. Overall great product, if you're in the market for one of these kinds of speakers, I think this is a great option.

I cant really write a review because it will not connect to my sonsiPhone. Want to take it back but best buy said I have made too may returns this year, even though I had receipts every time I exchanged hheadhones.

First week was good, Got responses on the slightest "hey Google" from two rooms away. Now, it doesn't respond at all even 10 inches away. This is a TRASH product. I thought it was just one, but I purchased two.

It worked fine at first, then it kept forgetting what time it was. and you NEED wifi for this thing to keep time, and that's just stupid. and look at his thing, who designed it?

I bought 3, one for each of my children's room and they all stopped working around the same time. The warranty was not honored. This was definitely a complete waste of money.

The appearance and concept of this device is nice but it's a Google Home device with a clock. The manual is not useful. Day 1, it failed because the WiFi went down and 3 days later I woke up to flashing clock.

It was a free gift with one of my purchases. Could never get it to work. Followed the directions and nothing. It's literally has been a paper weight since it came out the box. Sits on top of my mail lol

These things are garbage, spend the extra money and get a real google home. I have to tell it numerous times what to do. It stops playing mid stream all the time.

I called Insignia because this item would not connect and allow me to complete setup despite me trying over twenty times. insignia told me it must be a wifi malfunction and they couldn’t help me further.

Many of the features don't work advertised on the box and description , I called support and they seem to be clueless, want to troubleshoot the same steps I've been through and I read about online

This google assistant was never touched or moved off the desk, but still managed to break and give an error message after a couple months of use. tried to reset but no avail.
