The sound quality on the Google home is louder and a bit cleaner, But this speaker shows the time, temperature outside and is half the price. It is a better deal.

So, this is my first dip into the non-Alexa realm. I wanted to dip my toes into the Google water and replace a clock on my desk, so this was exactly what I wanted. Setup was a little painful as well as the unit sometimes doesn't link up for playback the first time, but I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase. I got 3 of these because they were on sale and knew if I liked them, I'd find a use for the other 2 throughout the house. I wish I could stream Amazon Music through it (they only real drawback), but I am otherwise extremely happy with this little gem. Sound is great for what it is.

Insignia successfully integrate google assistant to this speaker and it does connect to Spotify and you can connect to the speaker via BT excellent product

This thing about does it all. Alarm clock, radio, bluetooth, google assistant, and more. On sale price was great. Much better than just getting google.

Bought this on sale for $25 and was amazing. Pretty great sound, better than the google home mini, being this has some decent bass. I bought the bigger, portable version of thithis speaker a little later for only $5 more than the smaller one ($30). So if both are on sale for their $25/$30 prices, get the bigger one as the bass is a lot better, but both are great. I would spend around up to $60 for either of these but not over $100, just wait till it's on sale. Noth support calling, unlike some reviews, but they don't support follow-up questions.

Speaker quality is pretty great. Within the app, you can customize the sounds, and it does have okay-ish bass. It can get pretty loud as well.

Bought this because a good friend recommended it. Google assistant built in. If you want to automate a bedroom, this is a great start. Use it everyday, tells me traffic to get to work, news for the day, weather, all while Im getting ready to start my workday...If you are still using your phone as an alarm clock, get this for your bedroom. Can control lighting, TV ETC. but in a small convenient package. This makes a great introduction to voice activated automation of your home life. RECOMMENDED PRODUCT! got it on sale, ended up buying 2 of them.

The sound quality I'd great. The alexa app and hand features it has are really cool. Also it's an alarm clock on top of that. No need for phones

This is a great Bluetooth speaker that I use in the bathroom getting ready in the mornings. Nice clock and your Google assistant. What more could you want?

Easy to set up. Very good sound. I like that it prints the temperature on the device. It would be nice if it also printed the interior temperature.
